This place is 100% Alaskan! Beautiful log cabin style building with the chapel on the top level (same as entry level from the parking lot, it is built into a hill) Non denominational chapel where you can bring in your own religion or friend for the officiant. They have a bridal room to get ready in as well. You can rent the chapel and they also have a reception area downstairs available to rent too! Either rent just one or both! We rented both. You can bring in your caterer or do the food yourself. Alcohol is allowed but they have restrictions. The reception area is approximately 40ft x 40ft but has 2 french doors that open up to a back cement patio with nice log style benches. It has a full kitchen accessible to re heat food and store stuff right up until the minute you need it. And it also has a little creek just down the hill from the back patio. The only thing I suggest is to take photos of the facility before and after. They said they needed to spot clean the carpet after the event which is fine, but when they sent us the bill it was for full service! But the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was awesome! Thanks to all my friends and family that helped make it happen! This place was perfect for our Alaskan style wedding!
